The roof at the bottom of the world

Edmund Stump is an adventurer, geologist, professor and author of "The Roof at the Bottom of the World." He has travelled to Antarctica numerous times to explore the 1,200-mile range of the Transantarctic Mountains. His research has been funded mainly by the National Science Foundation. Stump is a professor of geology in ASU's School of Earth and Space Exploration.
